The Story Behind Chamber on the Move
As an avid chamber musician, I’ve always been drawn to the magic of intimate performances—where music feels alive, and the connection between performers and audiences is immediate and profound.
Chamber on the Move was born from this passion and a desire to create meaningful performance opportunities for young professionals.
By curating concerts that reflect the unique character of each space, my goal is to foster collaboration, deepen audience engagement, and reimagine how chamber music is experienced beyond the traditional concert hall.

Reimagining Salon Concert : Chamber Music
Where Music, Space, and People Connect.
-
We bring curated, high-quality chamber music performances beyond traditional concert halls and into intimate settings.
By blending classical repertoire with other genres, each concert is uniquely crafted to reflect its surroundings, making classical music accessible and engaging.
-
Chamber on the Move provides emerging artists with performance opportunities, professional connections, and a supportive community.
We connect young professionals with venues, industry professionals, and fellow musicians to help them grow in their careers.
-
We go beyond the conventional concert format by integrating elements of other art forms, transforming performances into immersive, multi-sensory experiences.
By incorporating local businesses and communities, we aim to celebrate and enrich Austin’s vibrant cultural landscape.
The exceptional craftsmanship and rich sound of Steinway pianos further enhance these experiences, bringing out the finest nuances in chamber music and ensuring the highest quality performances.
-
In addition to reimagining performances, Chamber on the Move actively supports the creation of new music. We commission works from composers, providing them with a platform to bring fresh, innovative compositions to life. By championing new voices and expanding the chamber music repertoire, we ensure that the art form continues to evolve and resonate with contemporary audiences.
